21st~Columbia Neighborhood Watch Training
Please join Columbia Neighborhood Watch and the Columbia Police
Department in keeping your neighborhood safe! Learn about
Neighborhood Watch and the benefits of being a part of Neighborhood
Watch. The next scheduled training is Thursday, July 21 from
7:00--8:00 p.m. in
City Hall at 8th and Broadway.
Tim Chancellor
will be attending and will bring information to the next
neighborhood meeting.
I hope to see several people from Valley View there. Let
me know if you are interested
in
carpooling and I will try and set something up.

August 2nd~National Night Out

View Park~5:30p to 7:30p
National Night Out is an opportunity to support crime prevention and
meet your block and neighborhood neighbors through block parties and
events. Please bring your family and meet your neighbors and other
families in our park. We will be cooking hot dogs so please
RSVP to Tim@enviteme.com
so I know how many to purchase. BYOB and Bring a side dish to
share. Because we have limited email addresses, please invite
your neighbors and others around your block.
We are hoping to create a fun environment for everyone at the park.
Feel free to bring activities and games.
Please be
aware that due to no RSVPs, this picnic is cancelled. See you
on the 23rd.

26-27th~Fall Neighborhood Garage Sales
Please
let us know if you will be participating in these sales at
Tim@enviteme.com. We
would like to list your address in our advertisements. In
order to curb cost, we ask for a small donation to off set the
expense. We ask that you help make these sales successful but
sharing the information about the sales to your friends, family and
co-workers.

23rd~Neighborhood Watch Training, Eagles Lodge 2513 N. Stadium Dr.
7pm
Please join residents of Valley View and learn more about the watch
program and how you can make a difference. In order to get
signs posted, we need a minimum of 50% of the occupied homes on your
block to go through this one hour training. Please mark your
calendars and invite a neighbor. RSVP to
