Enviteme started from email chains of social events that were coming up between friends.  Several people expressed interest in finding out what was happening around town.  After events, those who didn't attend always commented that if they would have known about the event, they would have attended.  Most stated..."Invite me next time"  As the friends community grew, a calendar and website were developed by Tim Chancellor and Liba Gerbig.

Enviteme LLC is a social networking community of professionals; single, married, parents and students, ages 20's thru 50's, who receive electronic invites to meet and network with other people in fun venues.  Networking is the most effective career development technique.  Our goal is to provide a large community built from smaller groups within organizations, businesses and associations.  This gives you more opportunities to connect, network and learn about other resources and groups available to you.

Our design is to provide opportunities to build rapport and different type of relationship. You can meet someone at a networking happy hour or via Facebook but spending a weekend floating, rock climbing, skydiving, being on a volleyball team or spending time on a winery tour, you will gain a deeper relationship of someone.   We recently purchased a bus to transport groups of people to activities and events.  We  are looking at developing a fleet of different size and types of vehicles to cater towards all needs.  If you are interested in a "Girls Night Out" or any other idea where you want to keep your group together and not worry about driving and parking, please contact us.

You know that feeling you get when you step into Starbuck's and Roland or Chris know you and what you like?  When you walk by the meat counter at HyVee and Jimmie yells a friendly "Hi Tim, How's it going"  When your boss ask you to coordinate a project or that unexpected crisis occurs and you personally know the perfect person to contact.  Enviteme's design is more than "get to know your neighbor" idea.  It's about developing your personal investment or connection in your community by building professional and personal relationships.

We serve small businesses as their Public Relations Department.  Let us work for your company.

Remember..."It's not what you know, it's who you know"

Technology vs. Interpersonal Communications

While most people agree that electronic communication has affected interpersonal communication, there is still debate over whether this is a positive or a negative impact. In the technology driven world that we live and work in, it’s easy to get swept up in the tide of modern technologies for interpersonal communications such as Ipods, Mobile devices texting, computer emails and instant messaging. You can now communicate with anyone, anywhere at anytime as long as you have a strong signal and electronic device.  Unfortunately this has greatly decreased the face to face personal communication. Electronic devices have the potential to draw people together but can act as a substitute for human interaction.

Technology connects us, yet also isolates us. We lack that personal connection

More and more people network on sites such as Myspace and Facebok.  67% of adults between the ages of 25 and 34 have profiles on these sites. Content on the sites is being used in courts, law enforcement, employers and schools as a source of evidence against the user and hiring decisions.  With face to face networking, you control what information you provide and to whom.

OUR goal is to interconnect people not profiles.

The quality of your relationships directly relates to your employability, advancement and professional success.
Strategic networking relationships should not be left to chance.
Get a head of the game by always keeping in contact with those in your network.  Connect not only the people you have worked for in the past, but also your friends and social acquaintances to let them know about your talents and professional goals.  Be sure to constantly keep in touch with former bosses and coworkers as many of them will be more than happy to refer you to potential clients.  Moreover, always find ways of meeting new people who can aid in your career growth...go to conferences where potential employers and business contacts typically mingle and get familiar with industry magazines, newsletters, and professional organizations.

People come into our lives for a reason, sometimes we may not know or understand their purpose but we all possess talents and knowledge that we can share with another to increase their quality of life.

Invest in you, invest in others and invest in your future!
